ABERDEEN – The Red Bank Roller Vixens will be engaging in hard-hitting roller derby action for a good cause on Saturday, Aug. 23.
The event at Tab Ramos Sports Center is a fundraiser for the Amanda’s Easel creative arts therapy program which helps children who are victims of abuse. The program is run through the Hazlet-based nonprofit, 180 Turning Lives Around.  Works by local artists will be available for purchase with proceeds going to Amanda’s Easel.
The game is a rematch between the Vixens and the Hartford Area Roller Derby’s Beat City Bedrockers. It’s the first time the two teams have met since November when the Bedrockers beat the Vixens in a hard-fought game.
