Red Banks Hosts Annual CROP Walk

233

RED BANK – Red Bank CROP Hunger Walk was held on Sunday at Red Bank Regional High School under clear skies.
Red Bank CROP Hunger Walk was a 5-mile walk/run to raise funds to fight hunger in Monmouth County and around the world. Food collection, music, banner/poster contest and fun family activities made it a great way to help those in need.
CROP Hunger Walks are community-wide events, sponsored by Church World Service and organized by local congregations or groups, to raise funds to end hunger at home and around the world.
In addition, each local CROP Hunger Walk can choose to return up to 25 percent of the funds it raises to hunger-fighting programs in its own community.
