Riverview Kids Rock Health Fair Slated for April 5

300

RED BANK – It’s time for Riverview Medical Center’s annual Riverview Kids Rock health and activities fair.
Riverview Medical Center will be holding the fair from noon to 2 p.m. Saturday, April 5. It will be an afternoon of fun during which kids and parents alike will enjoy educational and health-conscious activities.
Kids of all ages can try their hand at surgery (gummy bear surgery, that is) with the newest addition to Riverview Medical Center, the da Vinci surgical robot; learn the importance of hand washing with funky glow-in-the-dark germs; meet Picatso, the newest member of Meridian Pediatric Network’s Pawsitive Action Team; and see a live performance by Miss Melissa’s Aardvarks.
The latest addition to Meridian Health’s Pawsitive Action Team will be making his first appearance at Riverview Kids Rock. Picatso, an intellectual cat who wears glasses and loves to read, write, and draw, will walk the catwalk as he meets the community for the first time. He is known to “high-four” all of his new friends and teach kids to see the best in themselves and others.
Melissa Chill’s “Music for Aardvarks and Other Mammals” has been on “Jack’s Big Music Show” on Nickelodeon Noggin Network.
The free event is presented by the Pediatric Care Center at Riverview Medical Center, affiliated with K. Hovnanian Children’s Hospital, and part of the Meridian Pediatric Network.
Registration and additional information is available by calling 800-560-9990.
