Scott E. Seningen, 41, of Middletown, passed away suddenly on Monday, July 25. He was born in Patchouge, New York, and lived on Long Island throughout his childhood. He graduated with a BA in political science from Villanova University in 1997 and a master’s certificate in project management from George Washington University in 2001. He lived in Pennsylvania, New York and New Jersey prior to moving to Middletown eight years ago.

Scott worked as a project manager for UBS and as a business continuity specialist for Horizon BC/BS in Newark.

Scott was an avid sports fan – watching his favorite Dallas Cowboys every Sunday or the New York Mets making it to October baseball. He wrote for various sporting publications including The Sportster and Sports Illustrated Fanpage. He enjoyed fishing, reading and history, but most of all loved spending time with his family especially his two little girls.

Surviving are his wife of 13 years, Kori Janicki Seningen; his two daughters, Ashley and Kaylee Seningen; his mother, Joan (nee Baltrushes) Seningen of Bethlehem, Pennsylvania; his father, Gary Seningen of North Carolina; his sister and brother-in-law, Kimberly Seningen Stear and Ben Stear of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania; his brother and sister-in-law, Sean and Aimee Seningen of Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania; his brother and sister-in-law, Chris and Sam Seningen of Saylorsburg, Pennsylvania; his father-in-law, William Janicki; and his mother-in-law, Susan Janicki.
