Red Bank holds its 58th annual sidewalk sale

The Red Bank Sidewalk Sale, July 27-29, is expected to attract crowds as it did in 2011.

RED BANK – The borough’s business district will be filled with bargains and interesting finds during its 58th annual sidewalk sale sponsored by Red Bank RiverCenter Friday through Sunday, July 27-29.
Hours for the sale are from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday and Saturday and from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
Visitors will be able to look for clearance items and bargains at their favorite Red Bank stores among the reduced price items on tables along the sidewalk. Shoppers should also plan on lunch or dinner at one of the borough’s many eating establishments. Participating stores, restaurants and antique shops throughout the district are located on Broad Street, Monmouth Street, White Street, Front Street, Wharf Street, Maple Avenue and Bridge Avenue.

Visitors will find clearance items and bargains at various Red Bank shops.

Media sponsor Press Communications will be in front of Jack’s Music Shoppe, 30 Broad St., with The Breeze 107.1 van from noon to 2 p.m. Friday and will feature contests and giveaways.
Visitors to Red Bank will also enjoy free StreetLife performances from 6 to 9 p.m. on Friday and from noon to 3 p.m. Saturday. In addition, there will be family entertainers, including magicians, face painters and a juggling stilt-walker, on Saturday and Sunday.
The daytime musical performance schedule is:
Saturday, July 28, from noon to 3 p.m. at the White Street bump-out at the corner of White and Broad streets Jay Loftus will perform, and at The Dublin House, 30 Monmouth St., The B Soul Collective will be featured.

Sunday, July 29, from noon to 3 p.m. Sibling Rivalry will perform at the White Street bump-out at the corner of White and Broad streets, and Tri City Jazz will perform at The Dublin House, 30 Monmouth St.
StreetLife performances will continue from 6 to 9 p.m. Saturday throughout Red Bank’s business district.

Don Lee at Danny’s Grill & Wine Bar, 11 Bridge Ave.

Ross “the Magic Man” at the White Street bump-out at the corner of White and Broad streets.
