LITTLE SILVER – Sickles Market’s greenhouse is featuring its Annual Artists’ Weekend this weekend 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 28 and Sunday, March 1. Each day approximately a dozen artists will display their art and hold demonstrations in the Sickles Market’s greenhouse. The event is free to the public. Artwork is for sale with 100 percent of the proceeds going to the artists.
“We are lucky to have so many talented local artists and Sickles is happy to allow them to exhibit in our greenhouse,” said Bob Sickles, third-generation owner of Sickles Market. “Our greenhouse is stocked full of beautiful plants and the natural light is perfect for displaying art,” he added.
Artists work in several mediums ranging from watercolors, oils, pen and Ink, textiles, recycled materials, photography and much more.
Sickles is located at 1 Harrison Ave.
