The 11th annual Skim Bash skimboarding competition returned to Sea Bright Saturday and Sunday, Sept. 6-7, with beginners to professionals showcasing their talents and competing for prizes.
The Pro Division featured some of the country’s best skimboarders, who competed for a cash purse.
“The September Skim Bash is a tradition in Sea Bright,” said contest director Felecia Stratton, who is also the owner of Jersey Shore Skim Camp. “We held our first Skim Bash 11 years ago in September and it has become an annual event that both skimboarders and spectators look forward to.”
