Skywatch: Horoscopes for the Week of March 9 – 16

Neptune, the ruler of Pisces, has just entered Pisces and the good news is it won’t return for 165 years. But on the other side of the coin it will be in Pisces until January 27, 2026 so there is plenty of opportunity to become familiar with the mystical and magical powers of Neptune.
If you celebrate your birthday this week you already know Neptune, because you have the ability to charm the birds from the trees or ignore the reality of what is happening around you.
You need time alone, away from the helter-skelter of modern life. You are attracted to Scorpio and Cancer people. A good example is the relationship between Elizabeth Taylor, a Pisces and her Scorpio lover, Richard Burton, whom she married twice.
Pisces can be the most sensitive, sincere and honest people ever, but once they have been hurt or if life becomes to challenging they tend to seek escape. Anyone born this week should learn not to take life too personally; because once a Pisces does there is no easy answer.
People born this week: Lynn Redgrave, March 8, 1943; Mickey Spillane, March 9, 1918; Sharon Stone, March 10, 1958; Rupert Murdoch, March 11, 1931; Liza Minnelli, March 12, 1946; Neil Sedaka, March 13, 1939; Billy Crystal, March 14, 1947; Fabio, March 15, 1961.
The full moon will be in Virgo in the early morning hours of Thursday, March 8, so the high drama should slow down some by the mid-afternoon. Then on Sunday at 2 a.m. the clocks are pushed ahead and on Monday Mercury goes retrograde at 3:48 a.m. until April 4 at 6:11 a.m. The wise ones will not sign a contract, made a promise or buy a car or any large investment of money while Mercury is retrograde. They know from experience anything started during that time just doesn’t work right. There is always some kind of avoidable problem. So get busy before Monday and get things signed, sealed and delivered or wait until early April.
Aries (March 21 to April 20) You would do well to ignore any hot shot feelings that pop up, since this is no time to listen to the nonsense that sometimes festers in your mind. Stay on track at work and just continue having a good time. Avoid the serious stories you often find yourself involved in and then wish you had stayed home.
Taurus (April 21 to May 20) It is time to tackle a task you have been putting off forever. If you start it now you can probably finish it and be proud of your work. It is also a good time to share your stored-up wisdom with some good pals who might be considering some stupid moves. They might listen now.
Gemini (May 21 to June 20) Once something catches your attention check it out and if you can follow through before Monday then do it. Otherwise, wait and learn to be patient. To make any moves after Monday is asking for trouble that you certainly don’t need.
Cancer (June 21 to July 20) If you have your act together start your new campaign, but if it isn’t wait. Otherwise you will end up appearing totally unprepared just like your fellow Cancer Lindsay Lohan did Saturday on SNL. Consider a change in direction but wait until early April.
Leo (July 21 to August 20) Impulsive behavior won’t bring the rewards you imagine, so try stepping back and reviewing your real needs and slowly start working on them. But avoid any serious starts right now. The final results will be bigger and better if you slow down. A new face looms in your love life.
Virgo (August 21 to September 20) Sometimes you make romance complicated when it should be left alone. Don’t try and figure out just what direction you should be heading in until early April. In the meantime, keep your eyes wide open at work and you will win the game.
Libra (September 21 to October 20) Although it is not the time for taking action, you can let your imagination run wild and write your ideas down. Then in three weeks put your ideas into action. A new BFF could come into your social circle. You will enjoy the challenge of a new friendship.
Scorpio (October 21 to November 20) You may be stubborn about what you want to do next, but slow down and relax. You might need some time alone or at least away for a week or two. In this way you will have a new perspective on the latest challenges you face. A new look at an old problem is just what you need.
Sagittarius (November 21 to December 20) Get out there this week and meet some new people. One of them could be your newest soul mate. But remember new friends seldom knock on your door. You have to get out on the on the scene and meet them. Just go slow or once again you will be disappointed.
Capricorn (December 21 to January 20) The time has arrived to be determined about what you want. The latest step is planning and by mid-April you will be more than ready to go. This time look for money or love and you will be the big winner, but only if you do some planning first. No plans, no victory.
Aquarius (January 21 to February 20) Although you are very expressive and believe strongly in your ideas, this week it might be wise to calm down and say little or you could be misunderstood. And if you are misunderstood, acknowledge your wording and move on. You just can’t win. A new love could cross your path, so watch out.
Pisces (February 21 to March 20) One of the wonders of being a Pisces is your ability to be flexible. You can change at the drop of a pin. This is good since there could be some changes coming up in your future. If you accept them you will love the experience. New friends could turn your life upside down, so be as flexible as possible.
