Jon Bon Jovi was one of the special guests to take stage at the 7th Annual Hope Concert Dec. 22 at the Count Basie Theatre in Red Bank.
The annual event, founded by musician Bobby Bandiera and friends, delights audiences and raises funds for the theater’s arts education and outreach programs, as well as other nonprofits and charities. This year, Horizons, a student enrichment program held at Rumson Country Day School for underprivileged children, was one of the beneficiaries. Since its formation seven years ago, the show has been a huge success, selling out and raising a total of over $1 million.
The concert was a star-studded event, featuring special guest Jon Bon Jovi who paid tribute to the late Joe Cocker, as well the two recently slain NYC police officers.
Be sure to check Lynne Ward’s People Pages next week for more photos of the sold-out event.
