Student/Athletes Sign College Letters of Intent

RED BANK – Four Red Bank Catholic High School football players, who have been the cornerstone of four years of success, signed the collegiate letters of intent on National Signing Day last week.
Spearheaded by offensive lineman Quenton Nelson, who will continue his career at the University of Notre Dame in South Bend, Ind., offensive lineman Tim O’Hara signed to play Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pa., defensive lineman Shawn McCord signed to play at Francis University in Loretto, Pa., and running back Larry Redaelli signed to continue his playing career at Assumption College in Worcester, Mass.
On the girls side, forward Grace Correll signed her letter of intent to play women’s soccer at Lehigh University next fall.

HOLMDEL – Eleven St. John Vianney High School seniors signed letters determining their future as they participated in National Signing Day on Wednesday, Feb. 5.
Four girls soccer players led the way as Kayla Troisi and Shelagh Kerrisk, who will both go to Caldwell College in Caldwell, Erin Boyle, who is on her way to Indiana University of Pensylvania and Laura Dramis, who is heading to Seton Hall University in South Orange, signed letters to continue their playing careers.
Field hockey players Megan Guilbert, who will go to Providence College in Providence, R.I. and Jackie Gallagher, heading to Fairfield University in Fairfield, Conn., signed on along with baseball player Patrick Devenney, who is bound for Immaculata College in Immaculata, Pa.
A pair of football players signed their national letters of intent with Justin Gille going to Lehigh University in Bethlehem, Pa., and Julanee Prince, who signed to attend Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Conn. Two track stars signed, Courtney Thompson for University of Richmond in Richmond, Va., and Tara Connelly for Sacred Heart University in Fairfield, Conn.

RUMSON – Six Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School student athletes signed their letters of intent on Wednesday, Feb. 5, to play collegiate sports on National Signing Day.
Two football players, defensive end Donald Bedell, who committed to Rutgers University in New Brunswick last year, and offensive lineman Peter Righi, who stands a 6-foot, 3-inches tall  and weighs 285 pounds, signed his letter of intent to play at Monmouth University in West Long Branch. Monmouth offered to Righi in November.

A pair of Bulldogs soccer players participated in the milestone day as the only senior on the girls team this fall, Schuyler DeBree, signed to continue her playing career at Duke University in Durham, N.C. On the boys side, standout Eamon Kitson signed to play at the University of Vermont in Burlington, Vt.
Bridget Miles, the center back of the field hockey team, signed her letter of intent to play at Fairfield University in Fairfield, Conn. next fall while track and field star Jason Bryan signed on to attend and play for Rutgers next year.
