The two-hour Seal Walk begins at 10:30 a.m. Each winter, seals from the north make their way to Sandy Hook Bay and can be seen from the shore. Registration is limited. Bring field scopes or binoculars if available.
Following the walk is a brunch at Merri-Makers at the Waters Edge, 1465 Ocean Ave. in Sea Bright, where families can spend time with an African penguin (Spheniscus demersus) and participate in activities designed for children. There will be an ongoing slideshow of winter wildlife.
The cost for the walk and brunch is $100 for adults, $50 for children 8 – 12 years old. Brunch only is $50 for adults and $25 for children under 12. Call (732) 872-0111 or visit www.CleanOceanAction.org for reservations and information.
