Long Branch – The Jacqueline M. Wilentz Comprehensive Breast Center will be providing a free breast education and screening program 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, June 8, at Monmouth Medical Center, 300 Second Ave.
Available to the first 50 women who sign up, the program will feature free clinical breast exams and screening mammograms. Same day mammogram reads will be available. The event will also feature assessment for the High Risk Cancer Program, breast health education, refreshments and giveaways.
The Jacqueline M. Wilentz Comprehensive Breast Center is a recognized leader in providing the most advanced array of breast health services for women concerned about breast health. The Wilentz Center and its satellite locations across Monmouth and Ocean counties provide all outpatient breast healthcare services – from routine mammography screenings to the early detection and treatment of breast cancer or benign breast disease – all under one roof in a comfortable, supportive setting.
Screenings are open to insured and uninsured women. Screenings for uninsured women are made possible by a grant from the Central and South Jersey Affiliate of Susan G. Komen for the Cure®.
