Henry “Dick” R. Thiesing Jr., 93, of Tinton Falls, passed away on September 30. Henry was born in New York and moved with his family to New Jersey when he was two years old. He graduated from Irvington High School in 1940 and then joined the Navy. He served in the Navy until 1946. Henry was a
past master and a 50-year member of Navesink Lodge No. 9 Free and Accepted Masons. Henry retired from Western Electric Company with 38 years of service. After his retirement he drove a school bus for nine years for Ranney School. While living at Shady Oaks Condominiums, Henry was president of the Homeowners Association Board. Henry was predeceased by his parents, Isabella and Henry Thiesing. He is survived by his wife of almost 50 years, Frances, of Tinton Falls; his
daughter, Hazel Burke; his grandson, Erich Johannemann and his wife, Dee, and his granddaughter, Sheree Nolan and her husband Brian, all of
Alabama. Visitation was held on Friday, October 2 at the Thompson Memorial
Home, Red Bank. Interment was private.
