Barbara J. Turner, 81, a longtime resident of Little Silver, passed away at home Sunday, June 5.
She was a long-standing member of The United Methodist Church in Red Bank.
Barbara is predeceased by her sister Eleanor Hawkins in 2011. She is survived by her beloved sister Bernice Turner, her loving friend Marie Bacigalupi, many nieces and nephews and dear friends.
A Celebration of her life will be from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, June 7, with a service at 6:30 p.m. at the John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Ave., Red Bank. Interment will be the morning of Wednesday, June 8, at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 100 Chapel Hill Road, Middletown.
