Billy J. Tuttle, 73, of Middletown, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, October 25, surrounded by his family. He was born on April 3, 1943 in Bassett, Virginia. He graduated from Fieldale High School before moving to Hoboken in 1961. He married his wife, Roberta, in 1966 and moved to Keyport and then to Middletown, where he lived for the past 40 years.
He worked in the paper industry for over 50 years where he built a reputation on hard work, integrity and respect. He loved his work and built many successful and long-standing business relationships. He enjoyed golf, classic cars and spending time with his family. His kindness, infinite generosity and gentle strength will be remembered and missed by all who knew him.
He was predeceased by his parents, Marvin and Edith Tuttle; and by his brother, Buddy Tuttle. He is survived by his loving wife of 50 years, Roberta Tuttle of Middletown; his son, William of Middletown; his daughter, April, and her husband Jim; his beloved grandchildren, Zachary and Brett Wilson of Wall; his sister, Nancy Parcell and her husband John of Martinsville, Virginia; his sister-in-law, Jackie Tuttle of Bassett, Virginia; and several nieces, nephews, and cousins.
