During the early 1900s, the Little Silver Post Office was located at 56 Church St. and mail service was centered there until 1956 when the present post office was built. In 1973, when the plan to preserve the building as the Little Silver Post Office Museum came about, the structure was moved from Church Street to a site next to the Little Silver Public Library, according to the borough’s website. Here, the building is removed from the Church Street site. The building is open to the public from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. the first Saturday of each month.
