Frank J. Weber Jr., 85, of Keansburg, died on January 10 at the NJ Veterans Memorial Home in Edison. He was born in Matawan and lived in Keansburg for most of his life. Frank worked as an electrician and retired from Anchor Glass in Cliffwood.

Frank was a veteran of the US Air Force serving from 1947 to 1967 during the Korean and Vietnam wars. He was a member of the VFW Post 2179 in Port Monmouth, where he served asVFW Commander in ‘73-’74, ‘89-’90, and ‘03-’04. He was also a Commander for District 6 VFW and was part of the state guard at the VFW Convention in Wildwood for many years. Frank was Seam Squirrel for the Cooties and was also a member of Middletown Elks 2179, American Legion in Union Beach, VVA Chapter 12, DAV, and of the 4 Chaplains.

Surviving are his daughter, Karen Weber Muller and her companion Michael Moran of Belford; a sister, Georgeanna and her husband George Massey of Morganville; a brother, Raymond and his wife Ursula Weber of Aberdeen; two granddaughters, Lauren Weber and Kathleen Winch; a grandson, Paul Muller; and his great-grandchildren, Thomas, Karleigh, Kaelin and Madison.

Frank was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Mabel Weber, Sr.; his sisters, Patricia Caputo, and Harriet Corrigan; and his brother, George Weber.

Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 13 at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown. Funeral services were held during the visitation hours at the funeral home.
