Where Are All The Bike Lanes?

Letter to the Editor
I’m a new resident of Red Bank, having moved here at the end of last year. I’m enthusiastic about being here but the first thing I noticed was that Red Bank is not a bicycle friendly town. I’m thankful for your newspapers involvement in this issue. Credit should also go to the Red Bank Borough for passing a resolution supporting a Complete Streets policy.
But that resolution was passed in 2010. Where are the bicycle lanes, the well marked and extra wide pedestrian crossings, and other characteristics of streets designed to enable safe access for all users? I encourage your readers to search “Complete Streets” on the internet to familiarize themselves with this movement for safer streets. Better access for residents and visitors makes economic sense as well.
