Patricia Kenny Wiseman, 82, of Monmouth Beach, passed away peacefully on Monday, August 15 at Monmouth Medical Center, Long Branch. She formerly resided in Middlesex and Massapequa Park, New York.

She was born in 1933 in Brooklyn, New York, to Richard and Catharine Leonard Kenny. She graduated from Bishop McDonnell Memorial High School in 1951 and C.F. Young Secretarial School. In 1953, she married the late Brendan Wiseman and they had three children.

Pat worked as a medical assistant to an ophthalmologist and at Beth Israel Medical Center in New York City. After retirement, she made Monmouth Beach her home, where she worked part time at Riverview Medical Center. She was an active member of Long Branch Senior Center, Sandpiper Senior Citizens Club and her local prayer group. Her deep faith guided her and anchored her throughout her life.

She was an avid reader and writer of poetry, drawing inspiration from her love and appreciation of nature. Her kindness, sense of humor and laughter will be greatly missed.

She was predeceased by her husband of 36 years, Brendan Wiseman; and her siblings Jean Kenny, Grace Kenny Schwartz and Richard Kenny. She leaves behind her loving children, Jean Pfeffer (Frank), Mary Bakoyiannis (Tom) and Brendan Wiseman; grandchildren, Kate and Elizabeth Pfeffer and Paul and Nina Bakoyiannis; siblings, Anita Fishbone and Gerard Kenny; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Thompson Memorial Home, Red Bank, was in charge of arrangements.
