Robert “Bob” Wyman, age 56, of Middletown, passed away peacefully with his wife by his side June 21. Bob was predeceased by his mother, Ann; infant brother, Marc Joseph; as well as his father-in-law, Anthony “Kelly” Ponturiero. He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years, Mary (neé Ponturiero); his father Robert (Bob) Wyman; sister Dawn Meredith and her husband, Greg; nephews JT and Dean; mother-in-law Marion Galatro Ponturiero; brother-in-law Augie Ponturiero and his wife Karolyn; and nieces Kristen and Laura Beth; as well as many extended family and friends.

Bob was employed as a chief division mechanic for more than 25 years with PSE&G. He enjoyed playing golf and bowling with his buddies as well as engaging in lively discussions with friends and family. Bob was loved by his rescue dogs who brought him much happiness.

He has been described as a giant personality, a friend to countless people, an amazing husband, brother, son and a unique gift to anyone who knew him. When they built Bob they broke the mold. He was loved by all.

Visitation was held June 24 at the John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown. A funeral mass was held June 25 at St. Mary’s Chapel, Middletown.
