Sheree Cerami-Guarino, 54, of Rumson, passed away at her home on Thursday, June 16 after a year long battle with pancreatic cancer. Sheree never once complained during her long and devastating illness. Her life has been a true example of courage, strength and fortitude. Sheree is survived by her best friend and husband of 25 years Joseph Guarino, and their three incredible children, Louise, Briana and Charles. She is also survived by her parents, Charles and Louise Cerami, her sister Charlene and husband Angelo, and nephew, Blake and wife Chelsea, and nephew, Charlie, her mother-in-law Jennie Guarino, brother-in-law John and wife Suzanne, and niece and nephew, Vincent and Christina.
Sheree’s greatest accomplishment was her three amazing children who brought so much pride and joy to her life. Their home was continually filled with loads of love and laughter.
Visitation will be on Sunday, June 19 from 1 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Ave., Red Bank. A Mass will be celebrated on Monday, June 20 at 10 a.m. at the Church of the Nativity, 180 Ridge Road, Fair Haven. Interment will follow at Marlboro Memorial Cemetery, Morganville.
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Relay for Life team Surviving Cancer Gracefully, at main.acsevents.org/goto/sur vivingcancergracefully.com, a team created by Sheree’s children designated for her initials SCG.
