Christmas Comes To Town!

313

Workers installed the downtown Red Bank Christmas tree outside the Dublin House on Monmouth Street last Sunday, November 20. The holiday season officially begins in Red Bank on Friday, Nov. 25, when the tree and town lighting takes place and the Holiday Express band returns to town for their annual concert on Broad St. And it’s also time for the Gingerbread Walk — while you are in town, be sure to visit the 15 participating businesses that will be displaying unique, hand-crafted Gingerbread creations throughout the holiday season.  Area bakers, restaurants and local schools were matched with Red Bank businesses and have donated their time and creativity to this fun holiday event.
Visitors are encouraged to stop by as many Gingerbread Walk locations as they can, as there will be an opportunity to enter a Red Bank Grand Prize raffle at each stop.  The more you visit, the better your chances to win an overnight stay at The Oyster Point Hotel, tickets to Count Basie Theatre and a $100 Red Bank Gift Card or one of the Gingerbread creations themselves!
RiverCenter and the Red Bank businesses are also hoping the Gingerbread Walk will help to support a good cause by also collecting donations for Holiday Express.  Holiday Express is a non-profit organization that delivers music, food, gifts, financial support and friendship to those with the greatest need for the gift of human kindness during the holiday season and throughout the year.  Please visit www.holidayexpress.org for more information.
