Cosentino, Vanzy Age: 92, Shrewsbury

Vanzy Cosentino, 92, a 64-year Shrewsbury resident, passed away at home on Monday,
September 28. Vanzy was born in Neptune to Daniel and Jenny (Curcio) Campanile. She
was a longtime communicant of St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church in Red Bank.
Vanzy was fortunate enough to have enjoyed going on many cruises, traveling, wintering
in Florida for many years and was a huge fan of Atlantic City.
She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother.
The family wishes to thank her live in aide Lili for her compassionate care.
Vanzy was predeceased by her parents; brother, Nicholas Campanile; sister, Carmella
Kalestad; in 2010 by her husband of 63 years, Victor “Vito” A. Cosentino; and in 2013 by
her beloved son, Daniel Cosentino.
Surviving are her sons, Carl and Cheryl of Eatontown, Victor Jr. of Whiting, Nicholas
and Linda of Eatontown and Kelly and Noreen of Shrewsbury; her sister, Frances Limon
and husband Ernest of Calif.; sister-in-law, Grace Pomilla of Eatontown; her four grandchildren,
Christopher Cosentino, Carly (Cosentino) Bruno, Kelly Marie Cosentino and
Anthony Cosentino; along with her five great-grandchildren, Olivia, Christopher II and
Joseph Cosentino and Salvatore and Isabella Bruno; and many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 1 from 4 to 8 p.m. at John E. Day Funeral
Home, 85 Riverside Avenue, Red Bank. A Mass of Christian burial will be celebrated on
Friday, October 2 at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony of Padua R.C. Church in Red Bank. Interment
will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, Middletown.
