Elizabeth C. Coyne (Betsy), formerly of Lincroft, passed away peacefully April 22. Born in 1951 in Staten Island, she was a resident of Monmouth County since 2006. Betsy enjoyed gardening and was an active member of the Church of St. Catharine.
Daughter of George Coyne Sr. and Elizabeth Coyne, she is survived by three sons, Christopher, Stephen and Scott Baldassano and their families. Her greatest pride was her seven grandchildren and being “Nana” brought her joy. She is also survived by three brothers, George Coyne Jr., Robert Coyne and Jack Coyne.
A memorial gathering was held April 24 at the Thompson Memorial Home, Red Bank. Monsignor Vaughn, from the Church of St. Catharine, where Betsy was a member, conducted a memorial Mass at the church April 25.
