James J. Dooley III, 37, of Lincroft, passed away Sunday. April 16. He always stated his most fulfilling life experience was working as a volunteer coach for the Center for Vocational Rehabiliation for Special Olympics children. He was also a volunteer for the Jay Dooley Memorial Foundation.

Jimmy’s favorite past times included spending time at his parent’s cabin in the Catskills, sitting around the campfire sharing stories with his family and friends. He also immensely enjoyed making those around him laugh, and was the life of the party.

Jim was predeceased by his grandparents, James J. Dooley Sr. and Virginia Dooley and Salvatore J. and Henrietta Amato. Surviving are his beloved parents, James J. Dooley Jr. and Judith (nee: Amato); his loving sister, Patricia Dooley-Budsock and her husband Bob; and his niece, Christina Cecelia Budsock.

A Life Celebration will be at the John E. Day Funeral Home, 85 Riverside Ave., Red Bank, on Thursday, April 20 from 4 to 8 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, April 21 at 11:30 a.m. at St. Leo the Great R.C.
