Eleanore W. Felgendreger, 96, of Fort Washington, Pennsylvania, passed away on April 6 at Fort Washington Estates, Fort Washington, Pennsylvania. Born April 5, 1920 in Palmyra, she was the daughter of John and Caroline (Brown) Wilkinson.

She lived in the Philadelphia area for most of her life: first in Olney as a child, then in West Oak Lane and later in Wyncote. In 2006, she moved to Fort Washington Estates. She was a member of St Peter’s Evangelical Lutheran Church in the West Oak Lane section of Philadelphia for many years.

Eleanore was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She enjoyed the simple pleasures of life like the holidays, a trip, or a favorite television show, but her favorite pastime was spending time with her family. She was always interested in the latest news about her children and grandchildren and took great pride in their accomplishments.

She lived a full life which spanned almost an entire century and witnessed great advances in civilization, however, she always knew that personal relationships, not wealth or possessions were the key to a happy fulfilled life. Eleanore honored us with her presence and was much loved. Her legacy of a decent well lived life will be treasured.

She was predeceased by her husband, Alfred F. Felgendreger in 1986; by her sisters, Mary Rodisch and Sally Wilkinson; and by her grandson, Stephen Felgendreger.

She is survived by her three children, John A. Felgendreger and his wife Cecile of Fair Haven, Judith F. Kelly and her husband Bill of Willow Grove, Pennsylvania, and David P. Felgendreger of Wyncote, Pennsylvania; seven grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Anton B. Urban Funeral Home in Ambler, Pennsylvania, was in charge of arrangements. Memorial donations may be made in her name to the Fort Washington Estates Samaritan Fund, 735 Susquehanna Rd., Fort Washington, PA.
