Jane Fox, 60, of Delray Beach, Florida, passed away Nov. 28 after a courageous battle with cancer. Jane was born March 4, 1957 in Elizabeth, and is survived by daughter Kate (Andrew) Hess and son Colin Behan, both of Middletown. Her parents, Edward and Margaret Fox of Union, and brothers, Robert and Jamie Fox predeceased her.
Survivors include a brother Tom (Nancy) of Fredon, and two sisters, Judy (Dan) Higgins and Meg (Don) Fox-Koscheka of Red Bank.
Jane studied at Parsons School of Design, after which she enjoyed a career in advertising and marketing in New York. Jane then relocated to Florida and spent the last decade of her life as the Director of Resident Services for The Sanctuary in Delray Beach, where she has left a legacy of inspirational service to and women seeking a better life in recovery. Family and friends both North and South will profoundly miss Jane for her kind and generous spirit.
Friends and family are invited for visitation Saturday, Dec. 9 from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. at Thompson Memorial Home, 310 Broad St., Red Bank.
