Jeanne Giacobbi, 65, of Middletown, passed away peacefully at home surrounded by her loving family on Tuesday, March 1. She was born Jeanne Vella on March 11, 1950 in Staten Island, New York, where she grew up. In 1985, she relocated to Lincroft and, a few years later in 1991, she settled in Middletown.
She was predeceased by her parents, Peter and Marie (Spagnola) Vella; her first husband, Jack Driscoll; and her son, Michael Giacobbi.
Jeanne is survived by her beloved and devoted husband of 21 years, Gil Giacobbi; her loving children, Peter Driscoll and his wife Kassie of Brick, Laura Bertics and her husband Al of Mississippi, Allison Sorokin and her husband Len of Aberdeen/Matawan, Melanie Farro and her husband Brian of Toms River and Glen Giacobbi of Brick. Jeanne is also survived by her dear sisters, Rita Maggi and Dorothy Donovan and her husband Charles; her cherished grandchildren, Brian Jr., Kirsten, Ashley, Dylan, Alyssa, Matthew, Hannah, Christopher, Nicholas and Michael; and many adored nieces, nephews, extended family members and friends. She will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.
