Dulce Gruszynski, 88, of Middletown, died on Wednesday, March 9 at Laurel Bay Health and Rehabilitation Center surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Nutley, and lived in Middletown for many years. Dulce worked at the Middletown Sewerage Authority until her retirement 18 years ago. Dulce was the eldest of nine children, the go-to person for history and love, and the matriarch of the family. She was a sweet, loving, caring, and strong mother, grandmother, sister, and aunt and cousin. She will be sorely missed.
Dulce was predeceased by her parents, Orlando and Jenny Graziano; and her brother, Frank Graziano. Surviving are her husband of 65 years, Bernard Gruszynski; her daughter and son-in-law, Mary Jean and William Marsh; her son and daugh- ter-in-law, Bernard and Sherry Gruszynski; her grandchildren, Desiree and Robert Sutton and William and Monique Marsh; her four great-grandchildren, Christian, Robbie, Kya and Andrew; her brothers, Sam, Orlando Jr. and Eddie Graziano; her sisters, Marie Strumolo, Patty Wyble, Rose Ann Graziano and Eleanor Strumolo.
