Izzo Jr., Peter J., Age: 73, Red Bank

1105

Peter J. Izzo Jr., 73, of Red Bank, passed away on May 12 in a motorcycle accident while driving cross country.

He was born in White Plains, New York, to the late Peter and Irene (Franco) Izzo. Peter moved to the greater Red Bank area in 1970 and has called the area home ever since. He graduated from Wagner College in 1965 where he belonged to the Delta Nu Fraternity, an organization that held tremendous meaning to him throughout his life. He was the founder and CEO of Navista Services, which he then sold to the Phoenix Diversified Group in Fairfield, where he was president. He was an avid motorcyclist, and was a member of the Raritan Road Runners and the Harley Davidson Hogs. Peter was a true patriot, and he loved supporting his country and those who answered the call to defend it.

Peter was the loving patriarch of his family and a loyal and true friend to those around him. It was never an hour wasted to have a good conversation with Pete Izzo. Recently, his happiest moments were spent with his new granddaughter Grayson, who he just adored.

He is survived by his loving wife of 47 years, Patricia (Naeder) Izzo; his beloved son, Peter S. Izzo and his wife Marian E. Lapide; his cherished granddaughter, Grayson James Izzo; and his dear sister, Cheryl Izzo.

John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank, was in charge of arrangements. Memorial donations may be made in Peter’s memory to Veteran’s Charity Ride at zomemorial.
