Maureen B. Kelly, 75, of Middletown, died on Sept. 17 in Red Bank. She was born in Moyralla, County Clare, Ireland, and lived in the Bronx and Flushing, N.Y., before moving to Middletown 22 years ago. Maureen worked as a home health care provider. She was a communicant of St. Mary’s R.C. Church in New Monmouth.
Surviving are her husband of 50 years, Frank P. Kelly; two sons and daughters-in-law, Brian and Colleen Kelly of Buchanan, N.Y., Daniel and Christine Kelly of Oyster Bay, NY; daughter, Denise Kelly of Bayside, NY; two sisters, Peig Cleary of Co. Clare, Ireland, Elizabeth O’Halloran of New Hyde Park, N.Y.; brother, Tomais O’Halloran of Co. Clare, Ireland; three grandchildren, Cecilia, Mairead and Matthew Kelly.
Visitation was held on Sunday, Sept. 20, at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home. A funeral liturgy was offered at St. Mary’s Chapel, 26 Leonardville Rd., Middletown. Burial followed at Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Middletown. For information or to send condolences to the family, please visit www.pflegerfh.com.
