Brittany M. Kologi, 18, Long Branch, was tragically killed on Dec. 31, 2017 while celebrating New Year’s Eve with her family. Brittany’s parents, Linda and Steve Kologi, and longtime family friend, Mary Ann Schulz, also passed away.
Born in Long Branch, Brittany graduated Long Branch High School in 2017 and was a freshman at Stockton University, Galloway. Brittany was artistic and enjoyed painting and drawing. She loved her family dog and her cat, Jill. Family and friends were important to Brittany, especially her grandfather, Adrian. She will be greatly missed by many friends who enjoyed her unique personality.
Surviving Brittany is her grandfather, Adrian Kologi; her grandmother, Carole Kologi-Zawacki; and her brothers, Jonathon Ruiz, Steven Kologi and Scott Kologi.
Visitation was Jan. 7 at the Woolley-Boglioli Funeral Home. A Mass of Christian Burial was held Jan. 8 at St. Michael’s RC Church.
