Patricia Sellers Korth, 87, a resident of Kennebunk and former longtime resident of the Monmouth County area, died on Friday, Feb. 26 following a brief illness.

Pat was born on January 15, 1929 in Carlisle, Pennsylvania, the daughter of Donald and Agnes Hoffman Korth. She graduated from Media PA High School and earned a BA in 1950 from Huntington College in Montgomery, Alabama.

Residing in the Monmouth County area for most of her life, she was an active member of All Saints Memorial Church in Locust and countless other organizations. One of Pat’s most favorite careers was working with the Carlisle Collection as a fashion consultant.

Moving to Kennebunk in 2006, she became an active member of St. Ann’s Episcopal Church in Kennebunkport, where she served on the Vestry and Alter Guild, as a lay reader, and led the creation of its planned giving program. She served on the boards of Logan’s Run Condominium Association and the Kennebunk Free Library. Pat was also a member of the Seacoast Garden Club and the Senior Moment’s singing group. She loved gardening, yoga, bridge, book club, figure skating and exercise.

Her daughter, Stephanie Gledhill Conzelman of Carrabasett Valley, Maine, and two grandchildren, George Sellers Conzelman of Portland, Maine, and Samantha Catlin Conzelman of Carrabassett Valley, Maine, survive her. She was predeceased by her former husband, Sidney Gledhill; a sister, Peggy Zimmerman; and brother, Donald Korth.

Patricia loved her daughter and two grandchildren dearly. People often describe her as spunky, fashionable and sweet, full of wisdom and spirit and a lovely lady.

A memorial service is planned for the summer at St. Ann’s Episcopal Church, Kennebunkport, Maine.

Memorial donations may be made to St. Ann’s Episcopal Church, PO Box 44, Kennebunkport, ME 04046. Bibber Memorial Chapel, 67 Summer St., Kennebunk, Maine, is in charge of arrangements.
