Caitlin Kennedy Masterson, 34, of Middletown, passed away peacefully surrounded by her family Nov. 18 at Riverview Medical Center, Red Bank. She was born in Toms River and lived in Red Bank and Middletown for the last several years.
She graduated from Pemberton High School and earned her bachelor’s degree from Catholic University. She went on to receiver her master’s degree in psychology from Rutgers University. Caitlin worked as a licensed clinical social worker for CPC specializing in drug and alcohol counseling. She touched many lives and will be greatly missed. She loved the beach, hiking and being outdoors. She also loved to read, sing and knit. Cait especially adored her beloved cats.
Surviving are her devoted husband Kyle Masterson; parents, Candace and Tony Hess and Cindy and Tony Costello; and step-sister Lisa Mcloughlin.
A Celebration of Life was held Nov. 23 at John F. Pfleger Funeral Home, Middletown.
In respect of Caitlin’s wishes, colorful attire was requested; please no black.
