June O’Brien, 92, of Holmdel and formally of Keansburg, passed away on Sunday, Feb. 7 at Arnold Walter Nursing Home, Holmdel. She was born and raised in Jersey City and lived in Keansburg, prior to living in Holmdel.
June was a head dietitian for Bank of New York, enjoyed Bingo and Atlantic City, was an avid reader and loved her family.
June was predeceased by her husband, Martin O’Brien in 1994; two daughters, Patricia Blasky in 2008 and Andrea Ford in 2010; and her son-in-law, John Hall in 2012.
Surviving are her daughter, Evelyn Hall of Keansburg; four grandsons, John and Courtney Hall of Virginia, Michael and Marinelle Hall of Howell, Warren Kern of Colorado and Stephen Kelly of Georgia; and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, Feb. 11 from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Jacqueline M. Ryan Home for Funerals, 233 Carr Avenue, Keansburg. Burial will take place on Friday, Feb. 12 at 11:30 a.m. at the New Jersey Veterans Cemetery, Wrightstown.
