Frank J. Palmieri, 74, of Holmdel, passed away on Jan. 29 at Bayshore Community Hospital in Holmdel. Frank was born on June 23, 1941 in Jersey City, where he grew up. On June 7, 1964, Frank and his wife, Concetta, also known as “Tina,” were married and began their life together. In 1980, they relocated to Hazlet, and in 1989, settled in Holmdel.

Frank was a long-time employee for PSE&G; he was currently retired. Frank was also a singer, guitar and bass player. In the 1960s and ‘70s, he spent some time playing with New Jersey’s own Duprees, and later in the 1980s also played with the Street Corner Band.

He was predeceased by his parents, Joseph and Rose (Mancuso) Palmieri. Frank is survived by his beloved and devoted wife of 51 years, Concetta “Tina” (Mastrola) Palmieri, his loving son, Joseph Palmieri and his wife Melissa of Orwigsburg, Pennsylvania, his dear sisters, Louise Vitale and Carmela Lopes, and his cherished grandchildren, Carleigh and Sophia. He will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.
