Concetta Pascucci, 93, of Holmdel, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 2 at Bayshore Health Care and Rehabilitation Center in Holmdel, with her loving family by her side. She was born Concetta DiBlasio on October 30, 1922 in Newark where she grew up. In 1967, she moved to East Orange and in 1972 relocated to Roseland. In 2002, she settled in Holmdel. Before retiring, she worked as a beautician for Cezanne in Union. She also was a baker for West Essex High School in Fairfield.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Frank Pascucci; and her parents, Santino and Maria (Ervelli) DiBlasio. Concetta is survived by her loving children, Dr. Rocco Pascucci and his wife Phyllis of Holmdel, Frank Pascucci of Monmouth Beach and Debbie McGrath and her husband Steve of Hazlet; her dear brother and sister, John DiBlasio and Anna Jordan; and her cherished grandchildren, Judith Pascucci and Rocco Anthony Pascucci. She will be sadly missed, but never forgotten.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 6 and Thursday, January 7 at the Shore Point Funeral Home and Cremation Service, Hazlet. A Mass of Christian Burial was offered on Thursday, January 7 at Our Lady of the Blessed Sacrament Church, Roseland. Interment followed at Gate Of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
