Florence J. Rogicki, 99, of Holmdel, passed away peacefully at her home. She was born in Staten Island, New York, to the late John Prazych and Josephine(Pytelewski).
Florence was an executive secretary at Remington Rand Co. prior to owning Gulf and West Indies Import and Export Company in Manhattan. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting and reading. Florence loved spending time with her family and friends, especially with her great granddaughters.
Florence was predeceased by her beloved husband, Henry, in 1996; and her sisters, Marianna, Victoria and Teresa. She is survived by her loving son, John H. Rogicki and his wife Lorraine of Holmdel; her beautiful grandchildren, Alexandra Rogicki-Farro and her husband Gary, and Andrea and Christopher Rogicki; her two precious great-granddaughters, Olivia and Felicia; and her caregiver MaryAnn Pettit.
John E. Day Funeral Home, Red Bank, is in charge of arrangements. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. James R.C. Church in Red Bank at 10:30 a.m. on Thursday, August 4 with burial to follow Mt. Olivet Cemetery in Middletown.
