John G. Salerno Jr., 76, of Hazlet, passed away peacefully on Thursday, Feb. 11 at Mount Sinai Hospital in Manhattan, New York. John was born on January 20, 1940 in Long Island, New York, where he was raised. He then moved to Keansburg, and in 1978 settled in Hazlet.
John was predeceased by his parents and his wife, Lucille (D’Amato) Rada. He is survived by his beloved fiancé, Juliet Loihle; his loving children, Deborah Salerno of Denver, Colorado; his son, Anthony Salerno and his wife Denise of Georgia; his stepchildren, Stephen and Phyllis Loihle, Susan and Jack Hicks, and David Loihle; his cherished grandchildren, Tanica, Calvin, Tatianna, Monica, Julie, Natalie, Michael and his wife Theresa, Matthew, Joshua, Amber, Shana and Samantha; and his great-grandchildren, Isabelle, Liam and Landon.
