Happy birthday, Capricorn! With Saturn, the planet of discipline and responsibility as the ruler of Capricorn, you can be sure anyone born this week is a serious soul.
Saturn-ruled Capricorn is interested in power, control and responsibility. The Capricorn is usually interested in getting to the top of the heap, of being the leader and in rigid control of all situations at home and work.
The sense of humor of a Capricorn is nothing like that sense with an air sign – Gemini, Libra or Aquarius – and that is because this Saturn-ruled sign looks at life from a serious point of view.
Capricorn was born to be a leader, not to tell jokes. So most Capricorn people take a dim view of too much fun.
A perfect example of the persona of a Capricorn would be the late former President Richard Nixon. He was a serious soul dealing with power.

The heavens promise a stimulating Christmas Day. With the moon in Libra, it will be opposite Uranus and conjunct with Mars. This will bring out the wild emotions in all of us. So we could be dealing with anger, crying or just plain love. Best day to compete last-minute shopping would be Saturday, Dec. 21, when the moon is in Leo. Winter Solstice happens on Saturday the 21st when the sun goes into Capricorn.
Aries (March 21 to April 20) Because of the strong Mars-Uranus aspects this week it would be wise to keep yourself under emotional control at all times. Otherwise, it is easy to predict you will be involved in a holiday mishap. That could be anything from an argument with a lover, a best friend or a boss. Spend some time to maintain your very own emotional control.
Taurus (April 21 to May 20) As the year comes to an end, you will find yourself in a hole or on top of the world – depending on how the year was handled. If you did good work, then the payoff for you will be good. If you have been nasty, you will get that back. So take an inventory and find out what to expect. Billy Joel is a Taurus and he just received the Kennedy Center honors and is a staple at Madison Square Garden. He is getting a big payoff.
Gemini (May 21 to June 20) You may want to examine your long-term relationships and see if there could be some improvements or, maybe, they are perfect. Either way, with Mars in Libra making good, sound reviews of your life would be good. Of course, keep a keen lookout for Neptune since it is opposite your Sun and could cause confusion once in a while.
Cancer (June 21 to July 20) Your best option for a fruitful holiday season would be to schedule time for some unexpected excitement, such as pals you haven’t seen in ages turning up for a quick visit or ignoring you altogether. Either way, your reaction should be calm and cool. Then you will understand the real meaning of Christmas.
Leo (July 21 to Aug. 20) Dealing with the planet Uranus in Aries, which creates a need for adventure, could be your greatest task this week. So, if you are planning to celebrate in grand style, include some unique ideas. Include some new faces in the party plan and you won’t have to go far to enjoy the good times.
Virgo (Aug. 21 to Sept. 20) You could start the week with a need for something unique and adventurous. That is a good feeling but don’t let it get out of hand. Use some discipline and don’t step on anyone’s toes or you will pay within days. The more self-control you use, the better your week will be. Remember that and your holiday will be outstandingly different.
Libra (Sept. 21 to Oct. 20) If you don’t plan every minute of the week you will become bored and who knows what you will end up doing. So establish an agenda and stick to it. Staying with anything might be a challenge since Mars is now in Libra and often stimulates action. But use some discipline and give the agenda idea a try. It might work and you will be happy.
Scorpio (Oct. 21 to Nov. 20) Whatever ideas may be on your mind will help you develop some future schemes that you will just love. So, be strong and get things done on schedule. Once you complete one part of your program, jump into the next. This is not the time to overschedule, so plan every move. A longtime friend could be of great help to you this week and in the future.
Sagittarius (Nov. 21 to Dec. 20) This is no time to follow a regular routine. It is time to throw caution to the wind and follow your heart. If you stay on the old schedule, you will miss some really wild opportunities and plenty of fun. Take the highest path you can find and don’t look down. There is a new soul mate on the way into your life. Keep looking around.
Capricorn (Dec. 21 to Jan. 20) Life is just not going to stay the same for you. With both Mars and Uranus square your sun you will be forced to make some adjustments. So be smart and start early. Finances will pick up as you make the necessary adjustments in your life. There could be a newcomer walking into your life who could brighten up parts of your life.
Aquarius (Jan. 21 to Feb. 20) Staying on the path you have selected for yourself may be difficult. But ignore that nonsense and just keep working on your needs. Once you give up your time-wasting ways, you will have plenty of time available to get your main projects completed. So dedicate yourself to new goals.
Pisces (Feb. 21 to March 20) Staying on target seems to be your top priority. You can achieve your goal by maintaining that goal and following a structured guideline. Let a friend help and you can accomplish everything you want in a short time. Without a sharp plan your goals will not be met. So get busy and follow your heart.
