Skywatch: Horoscopes for the week of Nov.24 – Dec. 1

By Flo Higgins

Happy Birthday Sagittarius! Of all the signs in the Zodiac, Sagittarius needs freedom, the freedom to roam, to explore and then to share his experiences. Sagittarius is upbeat, outgoing and spontaneous and always fun to be associated with.
Because this fire sign is a born philosopher, Sagittarius people sometimes end up as ministers, counselors or salespeople. And since they like plenty of space and seldom like anyone to tell them what to do or say, they avoid settling down without first having seen the world.
The Sagittarius is a traveler and has a short attention span, much like the Gemini, so they seldom settle down until they have traveled.
Sagittarius, like the other fire signs, Aries and Leo, is outgoing, spontaneous and willing to tell it like it is. Because they are so enthusiastic and outgoing they tend to demand the center of attention.
If you want answers to life’s questions, find yourself a Sagittarius and enjoy an adventure into learning more than you ever wanted to know.
People born this week: Amy Grant, November 25, 1960; Tina Turner, November 26, 1939; Jon Stewart, November 27, 1962; Anna Nicole Smith, November 28, 1967; Kim Delaney, November 29, 1978; Clay Aiken, November 30, 1978; Bette Midler, December 1, 1945.
This could be a week to remember. Not only do we have Mercury retrograde as of Thanksgiving Day, there will be a solar eclipse and a new moon on Friday. The best day this week could be Wednesday, when the moon rolls through Aquarius and makes a nice aspect to Mercury. But since you should not start a new project with Mercury retrograde, finish up some things that need doing.
Aries (March 21 to April 20) This is a week to become inspired and finish up any business issues that have not been completed. It is time to finalize your efforts and then be prepared to move on any business deals by mid-December. Follow that routine and you are promised success. New ideas and plans should wait until December 13 when Mercury is direct.
Taurus (April 21 to May 20) Any encouragement you can give others now will roll back to you by the end of the year. So discover someone who might need your help and offer it. You will be paid back 10 times in 2012. A new face in the crowd you hang with could certainly offer you a boost, so be out there where the action is and let others know how helpful you can be.
Gemini (May 21 to June 20) Life should be more upbeat than usual, unless you are trying to start a new mission and then the project will just slow down to a crawl. Mercury is retrograde and you need to keep that in mind now until mid-December. Otherwise you are going to miss plenty of fun and games. So get into the action, but start nothing new. Remember that no decision is a good decision.
Cancer (June 21 to July 20) If you are still in the same job and married to the same person consider yourself lucky. This is no time to make serious decisions. This is the time to complete any work you have started and not take anything, including other people’s opinions, too seriously. Get your work done and then party, but don’t pay attention to the nonsense.
Leo (July 21 to August 20) Here we are in a holiday spirit and you can be the leader when it comes to good times. Avoid overdoing things now and try to fit some relaxation time into your agenda. If you don’t, your serious side will overtake you and you won’t have the fun you need. A new person could enter your life and bring some change.
Virgo (August 21 to September 20) With Mars in Virgo avoid making hasty decisions or you will be sorry. A new relationship should go slowly or you will feel left out on a limb. A job change should be considered, but that is about all. Remember the saying “haste makes waste.” This is not the time for quick action.
Libra (September 21 to October 20) Before you make any rash decisions think twice or maybe three times. You need to wrap up a few things, including relationships, before you start anything else. A friend could use some cheerful words from you now and again. You need to keep closer tabs on an old friendship. Your new friends are willing to help you in your next project.
Scorpio (October 21 to November 20) Once you complete a project it might be wise to take a vacation far from where you live. You might enjoy a change of pace and some new faces in your experience. After all, you have been pushing yourself in every direction. This does not mean you should stop doing your good works; it just means slow down a little. A new friend will help.
Sagittarius (November 21 to December 20) Don’t let your lack of self-confidence get in your way. Just keep moving forward with your plans that will improve your life. The only thing now is just take some time off since nothing can happen right now anyway. There should be a journey in your near future, so make sure you are available.
Capricorn (December 21 to January 20) With Mars making great aspects to your sun it would be wise to schedule some time off. By mid-December you should be making headway into a new pathway both at home and work. You are looking at some successful ventures in 2012. Be wise and be prepared. A trip could appear on the horizon, so be wise and take it.
Aquarius (January 21 to February 20) Sometimes you might feel overly challenged and it seems like nothing is happening. Avoid that thinking because you are about to move out into a new agenda. Pull out your past daydreams and decide which ones you want to become reality, then work on them for the next three weeks. Avoid doing anything concrete; just think about what you want to do.
Pisces (February 21 to March 20) Is there something you want to do? There should be plenty. So gather your thoughts and prepare to make a few moves by mid-December. A new friend could help with the new project if you just let him. No more tears over lost plans, just be prepared and don’t let any ideas slip through your fingers. Your real success is on its way.
