Carmine Uliano, 87, of Hazlet, passed away peacefully on Saturday, April 16 at Regency Park Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Hazlet. Carmine was born on September 5, 1928 in Jersey City, where he grew up. In June of 1980, Carmine married the love of his life, Dorothy A. (McKay) Uliano. In 1989, Carmine and Dorothy settled in Hazlet to raise their family.

Before retiring, he worked as a laborer for Halls Trucking Company in South Plainfield. Carmine was also a proud United States Army veteran, having served during the Korean War.

He was predeceased by his beloved wife, Dorothy A. (McKay) Uliano; his parents, Pasquale and Marguerite (Ferretti) Uliano; and his sister, Frances Constantino. Carmine is survived by his loving children, Patricia A. Martin and her husband Edward of Hazlet, Robert Uliano and his wife Suzanne of Jackson, and Lisa Nuzzi and her husband James of Holmdel; his dear siblings, Nicholas Uliano, Phyllis Ferraro, and Angelo Uliano; along with his cherished grandchildren, Edward Martin, Jillian Martin, Corey Nuzzi, Nicholas Uliano, Matthew Nuzzi, Lauren Nuzzi and Adam Uliano.
