MIDDLETOWN – The Middletown Township Historical Society will hold its monthly meeting on Monday, March 17 at 7:30 p.m.
Dan Lieb of the New Jersey Historic Divers Association will present a program titled, “Identifying the Vivian Wreck.” Lieb is a researcher who both delves into archival records and explores the deep. This deeply buried wreck of a large ship off local waters left hardly a shred of evidence, but Lieb was able to build a case in the manner of a detective. His presentations build suspense like a good mystery and unravel with the adventure of a good detective story.
The event will be held at the society’s new meeting place at the Nature Center at Poricy Park, 345 Oak Hill Road.
Refreshments will be served, visitors are welcome.
