SANDY HOOK – Concrete from the soon- to-be-demolished Rumson-Sea Bright Bridge will be repurposed to create a fishing reef off the coast of Sandy Hook and Sea Bright, county officials announced recently. Now that the new $113 million Rumson-Sea Bright Bridge has opened, construction crews will begin demolition of the old bridge within weeks.

RUMSON/SEA BRIGHT – After years of planning and nearly four years of construction, local officials gathered last week to officially open the new Rumson-Sea Bright Bridge (S-32). It replaced the soon-to-be-demolished structure that linked the two towns for decades.

RUMSON – George Sourlis has been on both sides of the Ridge Road Rivalry. Now, the veteran coach is returning to Rumson-Fair Haven, following three years building Red Bank Regional into a Shore Conference power.

RUMSON – As the new Rumson-Sea Bright Bridge nears completion, Rumson officials are turning their attention to West Park, a 5.72-acre borough-owned space located along the north and south sides of the bridge entrance.

RUMSON – Rumson-Fair Haven has two Shore Conference lacrosse championships and both teams are still in the hunt for state titles.
