FORT MONMOUTH – The streaming giant is moving rapidly toward its targeted completion of 2028 on the former U.S. Army base.

FORT MONMOUTH – Kara Kopach, who has served as executive director/secretary of the Fort Monmouth Economic Revitalization Authority (FMERA) since 2022, will vacate that post effective July 1 for one of the first positions offered by Netflix Studios Fort Monmouth – manager of studio operations. She will join the entertainment firm in mid-July.

FORT MONMOUTH – A collective sigh of relief reverberated from Monmouth County to Trenton to Hollywood Dec. 5 when Netflix and the Fort Monmouth Economic Revitalization Authority (FMERA) closed on 292-plus acres that will become Netflix Studios Fort Monmouth.

FORT MONMOUTH – This fall, Netflix representatives will present the firm’s next round of plans for Netflix Studios Fort Monmouth to Eatontown and Oceanport officials in pursuit of approvals to construct a 12-soundstage production complex on 292 acres of the former U.S. Army base.

EATONTOWN – Netflix will bring a team of professionals to the Eatontown Planning Board at 7 p.m. on successive Mondays, Aug. 4 and 11, for a two-part presentation of its plans for Netflix Studios Fort Monmouth.

FORT MONMOUTH – An 18.6-acre site on Fort Monmouth in Eatontown near the long-shuttered Burger King is being offered for sale to a purchaser who must develop a 62-unit affordable housing community of townhouses, apart- ments and/or single-family detached homes. A 13.4-acre adjacent property, formerly the fort’s football field, will become open space.

FORT MONMOUTH – Eatontown, Oceanport and Tinton Falls officials have 45 days to review recently expanded flexibility for Fort Monmouth’s Allison Hall Parcel in Oceanport, currently being redeveloped into the multiuse RiverWalk Center along Oceanport Avenue.

The owner of the boutique hotel to be created from Fort Monmouth’s historic Allison Hall has been given until July 6, 2026, to complete the transformation, combining a two-phase project into one.

OCEANPORT – Construction is underway to turn a 6,000-square-foot portion of Fort Monmouth’s RiverWalk Center into a new brewery and tap room, expected to open by the end of this year.
