RED BANK – It was a great run but Blue Journey, a borough duo that made it to the semi-finals of the NBC program “America’s Got Talent,” will not be in the show’s finale.
Dancers Nick Mishoe and Rachel Kivlighan, who made it to the top 12 last week, were not chosen tonight to be one of the six acts to make it to the finals next week during the program that was telecast live from New York’s Radio City Music Hall.
Mishoe, a 33-year-old borough resident who owns and operates the Academy of Dance Arts with his wife, and Kivlighan had been working with choreographer David Middendorp to develop routines for Blue Journey which combines dance with video illustrations.
The winner of “America’s Got Talent,” which is in its ninth season on NBC, will get $1 million and the chance to perform for two nights in Las Vegas at the end of this month.
