Barnabas Health Group Welcomes Kargutkar

Barnabas Health Medical Group recently announced the addition of Smita N. Kargutkar, M.D., a board-certified endocrinologist, to its network of multispecialty physicians.

Kargutkar is affiliated with Monmouth Medical Center and is available to see patients at offices in Long Branch, Tinton Falls and Middletown.
Prior to joining Barnabas Health Medical Group, Kargutkar served as a family physician at a private practice in Thane, India, as well as the chief medical officer at the Primary Health Center Walaval, located in Walaval, India.
Kargutkar is trilingual in English, Marathi and Hindi; she is also familiar with the languages of Sanskrit, Gujarati, Punjabi, and Urdu.
Kargutkar earned a Bachelor of Medicine, Bachelor of Science degree  from Seth G.S. Medical College & K.E.M. Hospital in Mumbai, India. She completed a residency in internal medicine at Monmouth Medical Center in Long Branch.
She is a member of the American College of Physicians, the Endocrine Society, the American Thyroid Association, the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists (AACE), the Philadelphia Endocrine Society (PES), the Association of Physicians of India (API) and the Seth Gosumac Alumni Association. She holds certifications with the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABMI) and Educational Commission for Foreign Medical Graduates (ECFMG).
Kargutkar will see patients at the physician practices located at 300 Second Ave. in Long Branch, 1029 Sycamore Ave. in Tinton Falls, and 1270 Highway 35 south in Middletown.
