SHREWSBURY – Mary Burke, CRB, CRS, GRI, president, owner and broker of record, Heritage House Sotheby’s International Realty, was one of five guest speakers at the Metro New Jersey Chapter of the Appraisal Institute’s annual fall conference on Oct. 25 in Iselin.
Burke’s presentation, “The REALTOR View,” covered multiple Monmouth County real estate topics; including selling real estate today, recent market developments, economic recovery impact, financing and mortgages, local supply and demand trends, lifestyle trends, year-to-date sold properties reports and closing with the biggest real estate challenges for 2015-2016.
The mission of Metro New Jersey Chapter is to be a national leader in appraisal education; to foster a spirit of camaraderie, attract top-level real estate professionals to their organization, and engender an atmosphere of professional pride, outstanding achievement and success for those affiliated with the chapter and their firms.
“I was honored to speak and attend this year’s conference. In addition to my presentation, other topics presented included commercial real estate today, current economic snapshot, appraisal practice risk and real estate investment analysis. All were informative presentations, providing great takeaway information to share with my sales associates. I look forward to the opportunity to present next year,” said Burke.
