Mr. and Mrs. John Felgendreger of Fair Haven are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Carey Lynn Felgendreger to Allan Jay Abeleda, son of Ma Luisa Abeleda and the late Carlos Juan Abeleda, Paranaque City, Philippines.
Carey is a graduate of Rumson-Fair Haven Regional High School and Muhlenberg College, Allentown, Pa., where she received a B.A. in American Studies. She will begin studying for a master’s in Speech Language Pathology at Kean University, Union, in the fall. She currently supports the Event Management team at Goldman Sachs.
Allan graduated from the University of the Philippines with a B.S. in Occupational Therapy and is pursuing an M.B.A. in Finance and Accounting at Fordham University, N.Y. He is currently an occupational therapist at Advantage Rehabilitation Services.
A May 2013 wedding is planned at St. Michael’s Catholic Church, Long Branch, followed by a reception at The Breakers Hotel, Spring Lake.
