Shrewsbury Sailing & Yacht Club’s Jeff Jacobi outlasted Monmouth Boat Club’s Dan Vought Saturday, Sept. 28, to win the Wood Pussy one design national championships at MBC.
Vought won race one while Jacobi captured the second race. In the winner take all final race, Jacobi outlasted Vought to take the title.
The regatta – with 11 boats going to the line – was sailed in perfect fall conditions on the Navesink River with winds around 10 mph and a light chop.
